(If none please can you give your general area as it seems N15 is way better than N8 / N4)

Recycle for 2021 !
It will stay up until twelfth night, January 2022
LOL Michael
I got a Christmas card from my mother last week. My brother received his a week before Christmas- he's in south London though.
Yes Sunday and two eagerly awaited Christmas cards have just arrived having been posted in London, in time for Christmas. I'm going to enjoy them for a little while before recycling.
I just had a delivery. On a Sunday afternoon. They're trying to catch up with the backlog.
I got cards posted beginning Dec, delivered Sunday 10th. I ordered an item from amazon in Nov. They said they sent it twice - still nothing.
No post for a week but then today a parking fine! And an inappropriate one at that, issued when my husband took his 101 year old mother to the Lordship Lane Health Centre for her Pfizer vaccination on the Sunday before Christmas!
I've just this minute had two Xmas cards delivered!!
I can't even remember the last time I saw anyone doing the regular postal rounds on Umfreville Road. Still plenty of Christmas cards and small parcels that haven't been delivered, now along with the yet to arrive expected replacements for those missing parcels
Delivery for all of Umfreville Road early afternoon today (proper delivery, not just a parcel drop). First sighting since New Year's Eve except for parcels.
The postie said things are very slightly better now, and casuals have been kept on beyond Christmas, but the casuals were hired too late and too few in number.
Hot News: the Royal Mail today announced a new chief executive, Simon Thompson who starts immediately. Ex-Ocado, and recently Managing Director of 'NHS Test and Trace' (um, good news and bad news?). More here [Guardian] and here [BBC].
If you want to write him a stiff letter of complaint about the performance of the North London Delivery Office his address is:
Royal Mail Group
100 Victoria Embankment
LONDON

You never know, the early bird catches the worm sort of thing...
