Yes, I think it is, but I've tweeted to the TfL Buses Twitter A/C to ask them.
More decline in service, disguised as "improvement" or "renovation". I use the stop a lot, and find it very convenient. Still, it is apparent no-one, least of all Haringey Council, cares about people who don't have a car and walk and use the bus.
Christopher, I walked from the Salisbury Road stop to the new stop this morning. Took 20 seconds.
The tweet says stop HN (currently outside Gokyuzu) will be relocated, presumably nearer to the corner with Salisbury Road, but where exactly?
I can see why they would do this, since a 341 coming up Salisbury Road will frequently miss a green light through having to call at stop HM. (The problem is exacerbated at times with traffic getting backed up due to the light not staying green for very long.) Getting on/off the bus outside Iceland won't be that different for the passenger.
On the other hand, who knows what unforeseen effects the relocation of stop HN could have? Since all three bus routes serving that stretch of Green Lanes use stop HN, there could be more (or less) traffic congestion.
Presumably HN will no longer be called Mattison Road then.
No, Reykjavik West.
But shouldn't Big Business sponsor all bus stops and subsidise the passengers who alight at their doors: 'Morrison ... Sainsbury ... Tesco Express ... Athena Palace ... Arista-Iceland ... Aligul Ozbek ... Homebase ... Costcutter etc.' ? John McMullan and I attempted to make Morrison and Waitrose league leaders via the W1 Bus link some years ago, but they were too damn stupid.
