Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!
Rubbish bin collections.
UMREVILLE ROAD - just returned from work and found that my domestic rubbish has not been taken away along with my immediate neighbours. The bin had only a small amount of rubbish in 3 weeks ago so they didn't empty it and now I have waited the 2 weeks that are part of the new collection cycle. This morning the recycling bin was taken but not the 'very smelly' domestic bin -does anyone know when the collection is due - feel like my front garden is turning into a 3rd world tip - rats and foxes will be next.

Welcome to a One Borough One Future. We're all in this merde together! This scheme is only about saving money and not about recycling or reducing the amount of packaging we send to landfill. Its not about improving quality of life since my elderly neighbours now have to deal with two unwieldy wheelie bins instead of one and I've now have a smelly wheelie bin outside my lounge window for two weeks.
And our neighbour hood is gong downhill since the front "gardens" now look more like refuse depots than potential beauty spots.
When will the incompetence stop because Labour's Haringey ain't working!

Same for me, they took rubbish from one of the recycle bins, but not the other.
I haven't a clue what they take when,
Does anyone know when they take garden rubbish?

In theory, garden waste is taken weekly as is food waste. Only black bin waste is fortnightly...in theory.

Apparently it Should be July 5 for garden and recycling. But not.
I emailed to register the prob.
