Is there a ticket office at this station with someone to get help from or is it just machines?

The ticket office closed last year.
There is a 'Help' button by the ticket machines you can press to talk to someone, but it may connect to a distant ticket office. The station is supposed to be staffed for part of the day, but in my experience the blind behind the window of the new staff office on platform 1 is usually pulled down...
Most Help buttons on railway platforms connect to support staff in India who don't have any practical knowledge of our railways and can only really help with train times and information. I am not sure if that's the same for the Overground lines.
There is a cubicle on the Southbound platform (Platform 1?), which is manned by real people, I am not sure what the hours are though
I find the staff at Hornsey station helpful
