Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Here is the pretty little thing I found lying out the back on the step into the laundry.  No sign as to why it died.  Perhaps something frightened it.  On the other hand, it was a fairly cold morning.

Thank you for this report Dick, not least because I've come across house mouse casualties (longer body, no white belly) but never this handsome species.

Not yet OAE but it did prompt us to have haggis etc on tthe 25th.

Lovely Dick (i think!). We had half a rat left outside our shed yesterday. Not quite as poetic!

Likely a little pressie from a local cat seeking to colonise your fine property :)

That is sadly the unpalatable truth of much of our missing urban wildlife.
