Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Participants wanted for academic research in the Harringay area

Hello,

Would you like to be interviewed about shopping for food? People are required for a research study about how they shop for food in the Harringay area. Interviews will last approximately 30 minutes. All interviews will be conducted by me for my academic research project at Birkbeck, University of London.

I would like to interview people in June 2021.

Candidates must:

Be over 18 years of age
Be the main grocery shopper in the home (it’s alright if you share this task)
Shop in the Harringay area (for even part of their regular grocery requirements)

Harringay includes a large Sainsbury's (and soon a Lidl). Is shopping at those within the remit of your research?

Hello, I am interested in Harringay’s retail area (termed by Haringey Council the Green Lanes District Centre), which includes all retail between Beresford Road and Endymion Road. The district centre also includes the Arena containing Sainsbury's.

I am also interested in where else people shop for food.

I have only heard about a second Lidl proposed for the Finsbury Park area. Where will the Lidl you mention be located?

Hi Judith. Just wanted to say how much I enjoyed the interview this morning and hope you get more people for your study - certainly left me with a lot to think about regarding my own shopping habits.
