Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

South African variant of Covid found in eight areas of England including Haringey - N17

Report just posted on the Guardian web site that the South African variant of coronavirus has been discovered in eight different areas of England including Haringey N17.  11 cases in the eight areas so far.

Public Health officials will be conducting door to door testing.

 A mobile testing unit has been being installed at Tottenham Green Leisure Centre from today. This is for walk in tests. We should get more information in the next day or so about testing. The current plan is to go door to door with test kits to get as many people tested as possible.  I have written to Public Health asking about people working in the area and if they will be tested.

The test centre is there and functioning.
Did a test this week and received reply (negative) early next day. There are usually no queues.

Please go and get tested if you can.
