Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Is there a local pub that shows Tottenham's games when they're playing?

Thanks.

depends what you mean by “local”, but usually the Old Ale Emporium on the corner of Green Lanes and Burgoyne Road shows all live football. a bit further up towards Manor House, opposite the Arena Retail Park, The Beaconsfield also shows games. the Salisbury has started showing some live games, but i don’t think they show ALL live games.

Have a feeling The Salisbury has BT Sport but not Sky.

yes, i think you're right, but i also don't think they show "all" games that are available to them.

Local to the ground pubs are The Beehive and the Bluecoats. Both decent pubs and (unfortunately) Spurs pubs.

Thank you for these replies. My son tried Wetherspoons near Wood Green tube yesterday but no luck.

Wetherspoons don't usually show football at all - i remember asking in the Mossy Well in Muswell Hill a couple of years ago, and they said that unless it's free to air (BBC, ITV, Ch4, CH5) they don't show it.

in Wood Green, the Nag's Head (corner of Station Road and Green Lanes) often shows live games. Also, the Three Compasses on Hornsey High Street seem to have rolled back on their "football ban" from 3 or so years ago.

Thanks for this.

The Three Compasses is still shut, ie hasn’t been open since March

You could try MCafferty's on Tottenham Lane. I've not been in since the refit/takeover but when it was the Hope and Anchor they had lots of THFC memorabilia and always seemed to show the games. It's possible the fans that used it for games then will still be using it now. Maybe give them a call or pop in to ask.

Sounds like the Antwerp Arms.

Thanks everyone.

WTF are you doing still going to pubs?
