Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Sorry if I’ve missed it but have the council given a date for when we can use the tip.

I don't see a date for reopening on Haringey's COVID-19 pages or on their Twitter account, where are those dates from please?

Councillor seema

I've already asked her.

Sure I read it was requested by Government that they re-open

When Authorities could sort out Staff PPE and distancing

From my few visits, never see staff when unloading, aware they are working behind skips

Should not be that hard for Haringey to sort it out

It’s going to be a tricky one to manage.  This is part of the queue for one that reopened in Manchester a couple of days ago  I think the only way to do it is to allow visits by appointment as the need to distance while inside means far fewer people than normal can be on site at any one time

If the council had an ounce of sense it would reinstate the garden waste collection for the duration...

I agree, since a large amount of the visits will probably be for that.

I wrote to councillor Seema Chandwani soon after the introduction of the lockdown and suggested that the council reinstate general green waste collection. The council gave careful consideration to my proposal and rejected it.
