Cafe Tramp farewell, replacement will be Izmir restaurant & meze bar

At the moment no interior changes are apparent. Hat tip to Nick Michael for the spot.

A supremely forgettable name indeed, John D, ####hashtag#### but I like their product - on my occasional nostalgic visits to Brothel/Tramps Corner.

I second that...George's is a really good chippy!

Don't take my word for it or the numerous threads already posted - 30+ reviews on Tripadvisor.  It does mean venturing to West Green rd, but it's really not that far for top quality Italian food

Shhh don't tell everyone!

If you want to go even further afield there's LOVEN Bakery at Tottenham Hale

Toffs is extremely over-rated and I want to like it but have always been disappointed when I have visited. George's seems to be always shut and the one opposite the Arena isn't very good.

Plenty of choice if you cook at home! No need to be bored with food choices! You can have different cuisine every night of the week  And it's cheaper than eating out at barn-like restaurants.

who needs art galleries when you can just buy a pencil and a peice of paper!

Was super sad to see this as Tramp was clearly such a passion project. However, much though I was desperately willing it to be wonderful, I visited several times and the food was always disappointing. A shame its replacement won’t be bringing anything new though...

well it makes sense, yes its all about demand, and there are often queues to gte into the turkish places, so why not the other one

Yes there were some very dodgy places in the 90,s where you could always guarantee getting a beer all night long, as long as you didnt mind being groped. Although it seems the slightly more respectable king kebabs is the only place to survive. I have spent many evenings in the past ,in the bar in the back of their shop until the wee hours

My thoughts exactly Ruth

Japanese food at Brouhaha is quite good with sushi, udon, snacks and bento boxes. Also Bun and Bar does great burgers with rosemary fries. Fatisa on Green Lanes in Wood Green just up from the Civic Centre is also very good, particularly in the summer if you sit upstairs and overlook the park nextdoor. The Chinese in Wood Green opposite the library is excellent and I recommend our very own China Inn for their big soup bowls - superb, tasty and warming on these cold winter days/nights.
