Blimey, good thing nobody got hurt

I hope nobody did get hurt. The blue Skoda in the middle of the road had a tree branch through the windscreen, but the fire brigade don't seem to have been called so presumably anyone in it got out unaided.

There was a fire engine and ambulance at the scene at 0645, but hopefully no one injured as the ambulance wasn't going anywhere in a hurry

This was mentioned on GMB London news today .

I do think Haringey council might be on a sticky wicket as regards the damage to the tree. They were warned the day before in a tweet that the tree was looking likely to fall but they responded to say as it was on the west footpath it was Hackney’s responsibility. Only problem is, the tree was in the park, which makes it Haringey’s tree...

This is definitely a Haringey tree. I was contacted on Sunday about a tree which which looked like it would topple and I immediately reported it as an emergency - finally locating the relevant officer. I also sent a photo of the tree which was sent to me. Lots of follow up for me to do now.
