That toilet block at Turnpike Lane is still used frequently as a toilet. Just that people use the exterior rather than the interior now ...

The report is linked.  You need to scroll to page 549.

What is disappointing in the action plan is there is nothing to address Green Lanes.  A major shopping hub, loads of restaurants, bars and two pubs but not a public loo to be seen.

On Haringey's website there is a link:

https://haringey.gov.uk/streets-roads-travel/travel/map-public-toilets

When I click on it (as with loads of other Haringey website links recently) I get

"Forbidden  You don't have permission to access this resource".

For goodness' sake.

That works for me (and is a useful page I didn't know existed) which suggests the problem might be on your side.

That link works for me (Brave on macOS Sequoia on a 2018 Mac Mini).

The loos in the Stroud Green & Harringay public library are linked on the map.

However, the community toilets are not as public or open as the council implies. By order of the Borough of Culture 2027, the library's opening hours were significantly reduced. Therefore, access to the loos was also slashed.

Those wheelchair bound and other members of the public cannot make use of them for days of the week; and the claim on the map that they're cleaned every weekday evening is moot.

The main advocate for "savings" from our library service has been the Cabinet Member for culture and leisure ( Cllr Arkell , Bounds Green Ward).
