I did a renewal application a few weeks ago and just got someone to take my picture with my mobile (following the guidelines in the online application form) and it was accepted and the new one issued.

Snap.

I did the same thing in 2019,  it was accepted with no issues.

SnappySnaps do it, and they provide a code so you can upload the photo without needing to scan in.

Thank you

The Bruce Grove N17 post office has a shop where the guy can do pp photos and he has the criteria for different passport authorities. Not too expensive either!

I got passport pictures done at the chemist near Hala. You do have to tell them you need a digital code for the online application.

The photographer (Prime Photography, I think), next to Harringay Store, on Green Lanes between Allison and Beresford, did a digital passport photo for me last week. I think it was £10

I just did a selfie on my phone against a white background and it was accepted

I got mine from the photo booth in the big Sainsburys (Williamson Rd) - for £8 you get 4 printed photos with a code to use in the online application so that the Passport Office can access the digital version. I think I had to specify that I needed a digital version when I entered my preferences on the touch screen.
