What a strange statement!
"Apparently there is a platform". Well, hardly...
From the 'Passenger Services over Unusual Lines' website (!):
Northumberland Park Depot (Staff Platforms) - Seven Sisters [London Underground]
[notes: accessible only to or from Seven Sisters platforms 4 and 5; Northumberland Park Depot is
not accessible to the public and nor are these trains]
Unadvertised staff trains operate outwith peak hours.
Wasn’t this featured recently in the redoubtable Tim Dunn’s Secrets of the London Underground TV programme?
That episode was broadcast 13th August. Series 4 episode 7. Catch up on U.co.uk (sign in, but free I believe). Hence the cryptic original posting two days later, perhaps.

Watched it now. Platform is a stumpy little thing, one carriage long or so.
Apparently Spurs have asked for a proper station from time to time. As well as mc.
The depot station IS NOT the same as the Greater Anglia station so pls don’t confuse them.
so Northumberland Park has a station and there is a depot nearby for service purposes. For info there is also the Meridian Water station nearby….
A London Underground branch line to Northumberland Park from Seven Sisters, or Tottenham Hale, has been proposed & investigated at least twice, as a part time solution to help ease the load at stadium event time, but there's never been enough money to implement it. A while ago there was an announcement that the London Overground extension to Barking Riverside would be the last project, with funds only just available, for the foreseeable future. When future funds may become available, the southern Bakerloo line extension will likely be the next project as they've consulted on that twice.
