HoL Defeats Latest Estate Agent Assault on Harringay

We queried the legality of this sign at the corner of Wightman and Cavendish about three weeks back. Brian Ellick confirmed to me this morning that Foxtons had ignored a 7 day compliance notice so he's just issued a 48 hour on which apparently has more teeth. He say that we can expect to see the sign gone by the middle of next week.

Fingers crossed.

Classy innit.

If he thinks it's Foxtons, that may be why they've ignored it. It's for Fenix Homes (on Turnpike Lane), not Foxtons. Hope Brian got that bit right.

Thanks Hugh. That's a question WightmanPaul has raised with Fenixhomes (So they're a Foxton letting subsidiary, are they?) some time ago and I know he curses it every time he looks out his window. Come back, Paul Simon, all your beautiful little signboards are forgiven.

I saw this sign a while back and couldn't believe my eyes. Thought the owners of the home must have been getting money for it being on the side of their building.

Has it been taken down, giving a result as the title of this discussion implies?
