Agreed - largely distorted by being bucketed with Islington and the fact that Haringey as stated previously covers parts of Highgate and of course Muswell Hill etc. It would be interesting to see just how extensive is the income inequality within the borough to assess the extent to which the richer corners mask less wealthy but possibly more populous demographics?

I've seen the numbers before, either on a government or council website, but I can't remember where I downloaded them from (or what I've done with them).

"The borough ranks as one of the most deprived in the country with pockets of extreme deprivation in the east. Haringey is the 13th most deprived borough in England and the 4th most deprived in London.http://www.haringey.gov.uk/sites/haringeygovuk/files/jsna_final_-_f...Life expectancy of men living in East v West of Haringey (see Page 33) shows a diference of 9 years "The variation in male life expectancy is closely linked to deprivation levels across the borough– more deprived areas have lower life expectancy". This is not the case for women.

I'm going to assume yellow = above certain average wealth/income but I'm more partial to spreadsheets/tables. Anyone know where such data may be found?

YES! and with extreme hipster central creeping up from Dalston through Clapton towards Tottenham there’s even more cash heading our way. It shouldn’t be beyond a competent council to leverage this for the benefit mainly of our marginalised residents and also for everyone else. Would be a shame if they managed to contort it into somehow being a bad thing.
