Oh if only I'd known! I didn't see any people there but the cordon was across the whole road so I turned around. I'd already run 8km home from work, this added another 1km to my run. (this was about 7pm)
The piling rig went last Friday morning on a low loader. There actually wasn't much on site, as what was there before was either specialist demolition equipment or specialist groundworks equipment. Once it's done it's job it's moved on.
Either that or the inevitable new plans, again after a thorough investigation, are allowed to continue. But with the following conditions, Full public audit on build costs, all units to be sold at cost to local residents on an occupier owner basis and a covenant is placed on them that they cannot be used for buy to let, as investment vehicles or sold to individuals from outside the area.
