Why does Rakkas restaurant need security?

I think it's part of the licensing conditions (perhaps it just applies at the weekend) which means they have no choice. You can see a copy of the licence by emailing the council.

They did have a shooting/stabbing outside the restaurant recently.

Although initial reports made a connection to Rakkas, it was later made clear that it was not linked to them in any way, save for initially assisting the injured person.
