Petition: Prevent Donald Trump making a state visit to the United Kingdom

I would have worded the petition differently along the lines that it is not appropriate for a rascist, mysoginist, liar etc.. to visit the UK.

The petition is already large enough to trigger a discussion in Parliament however the more signatures the better to underline opposition to the policies of this odious man and his like.

Not that it makes any difference, but I was amused to notice that the guy who started this petition eight weeks ago did so to protect the Queen from Trump's "vulgarity". It had nothing to do with the immigration issue, the Independent reports.

Asked if the immmigration issue made any difference to him, he replied that it “changes things slightly” but that his primary concern is still the “poor old Queen”.

Not that it makes any difference, but you have to give a passing wry smile.
