Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Having just walked out of Iceland as soon as I walked in, I wonder who thought it was a good idea to let members of the dangerous and sinister religious cult that is Unified Church of the Kingdom of God (UCKG) do a bag pack there?

If anyone does not not about this nasty mysogonistic and homophobic money making scam masquerading as 'relgion' then see here http://www.haringey.org.uk/content/religion and there are plenty of examples out there as well.

This manager is not currently available, so i shall be emailing Iceland HQ instead, but in the meantime if you are shopping in there, don't give money to them.

Have contacted Iceland by email to request they check this and remove offending behaviour

I hope you and I aare not the only ones.
What annoys me is why this organisation. There are I think four local churches in Harringay and if anyone of them had been given a slot, I would not mind, but this lot!
You'll probably find they own Iceland.

Following their political success in Brazil (e.g. their Bishop Crivella is current Mayor of Rio) are the UCKG preparing potential candidates for Harringay Ward 2018?  Iceland shoppers may be ripe for grooming. Indeed the makeover of Disneyland under the redemptive name of SAVERS suggests that our Brazilian Redeemers' campaign in Harringay is much more advanced than we first thought. UCKG has of course been targeting the middle classes over the past few decades - so who is to say that a Prosperity Gospel takeover of the Ladder as a bridgehead to conquering Koberland by 2022 would not be good for us all?

Agree. They have been there for a couple of weeks asking for donations; I told them why I refused to give but most people just donate without knowing. I will e mail Iceland also as the more the better.

UCKG pastor thought Victoria Climbie was possessed by devils and was exorsicing rather than helping her.  http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/1695601.stm

UCKG investigated for sponging off the poor http://www.thetimes.co.uk/tto/money/consumeraffairs/article2814692.ece

UCKG and fraud https://www.theguardian.com/world/2009/aug/13/brazil-evangelical-le...

and many more.

What gets me too is that it is a registered charity, even though the leaders are immensely rich (multi billions), and the UCKG has an enormous property portfolio business, and it thrives on getting money off vulnerable people, as a charity it benifits financialy at our expense as it does not pay tax.

Many religions are registered charities, very rich, have large property portfolios and thrive off playing on the poor and vulnerable...

The e mail for the CEO of Iceland is malcolm.walker@iceland.co.uk

Thanks for this. I didn't donate to a charity I didn't know....and I didn't let them pack my bags either.

Yes I wouldn't want a stranger touching my bags, so weird!
