Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

I have recently passed my Life in the UK test. Just wanted to share the site http://www.lifeintheuktestweb.co.uk/test-1 as found it very helpful. You can also access the Life in the UK test book contents there for free. Good luck for any people applying for the citizenship.

I assume that means your now a british citizen- congratulations!!! -- welcome to the madhouse.

Yes, I am thanks

75%! I must try harder

with 75% you should pass!

83.5% - but shouldn't we all be getting closer to 100%?

I bet if you asked these questions to a random sample of UK passport holders they would score far less than someone applying for citizenship.
PS - aren't there a lot of MSPs; almost one per person.
Yep I got that wrong too. One of my less successful educated guesses. I opted for 90.

£1000 isn't it?

I think I'll just stick to being treated like scum when I reenter the country for now.

You've been here forever though haven't you? Do you just have IDL?

My dad was a NZ permanent resident for 44 years and never bothered to get citizenship (silly him, back in the 70s it was free though you did have to go to classes).

Yes.

The definition of 'coalition' is factually incorrect. It states that it is the joining together of two parties; but any number of parties may form a coalition. Indeed Independents may take part also.

While that's true in theory it has never happened in British politics. Since 1929, when Conservatives and Labour became the two main parties in parliament, coalitions have been between one of them and the Liberals/LibDems (if you don't count the National Government during WW2). As we don't have PR that's likely to remain that way for the foreseeable future with maybe the Greens or UKIP taking the place of the LibDems..
