The Green Party are standing someone from Wood Green instead of local Matt Cuthbert? How sustainable is this? Don't they know that unless your surname starts with A, B or C you don't stand a chance?

Last week we had a knock on the door by someone looking for signatures to enable them to stand. Whilst I politely declined, I'm sure that others will have signed. This wasn't UKIP (I'll spare the blushes of any true blues here), but I guess it shows one way candidates can get themselves on the list without much scrutiny.

The book according to Poundland, no mention of humility, forgiveness and compassion. The only positive I can take from this text is that it at least recognises how diverse, complex and expressive humanity is.
