Woodlands Park RA cover most of the area to the south of West Green Road, and we have representation on the steering group.  Abi, which RA are you part of?  Perhaps we could work together on this.

Therese/Justin, is there a thread anywhere on HoL setting out which Ladder roads have representatives on the LCSP sub traffic committee? Also, do the minutes get published? I know there is a summary which is published on the LCSP minutes but not the minutes of the meeting itself. Thanks

Nick. I am not sure if there was, I do not have the membership at hand but I will get it and let you know. I know Eileen O'Dwyer is one member from Falkland.

As to minutes, we are not that formal. It also means we do not have to ask for a volunteer to take notes- you know how hard it is from the FoHP meetings. If anyone wants to know what has come of a meeting they are welcome to either be part of it in the first place, or ask me (or another member) afterwards, and we will happily share what was discussed.

Equity of traffic is impossible, in my opinion. The ladder looks like a homogenous set of streets but it's patently not and can never become so without some pretty weird stuff being done. We need the HGVs to go and we need the majority of the 90,000 journeys a week down Wightman Rd by out of borough drivers to go. Equity is impossible so be suspicious of anyone selling it.

All Ladder Road Associations should be invited, if religious groups are included, then all should be allowed to attend.

There are many Freinds of Groups in Harringay as well, how are they consulted?

The LCSP's aims are very specific, I feel that Harringay Ward needs wider representation to serve or represent the needs of the 8000 people who live here.

The LCSP is a founding member of the GLSG so naturally it would be on the list, it primarily deals with crime on the ladder, I don't have an issue with that, they do represent a view that should be shared as a stakeholder. The LCSP Traffic Sub-Committee has provided a positive addition to the dynamic of the LCSP, (looking specifically at traffic,) so representation might well be continued through this group.

No other party representation is included within the group in the interest of transparency. The Greens and the Lib Dems will certainly have a view. I welcome any ideas on clean air zones, if that is a Conservative objective to lobby local & national government. Let's not reduce the DNA of thought in providing the best result for residents, & secure their right to clean air.

Matt, on religious groups, I'm glad that Haringey are doing this. Some communities are very hard to engage with. If you look around most meetings you go to, the great majority are people like me, white and European. Using faith groups as a way in to communities (in this case people who are Muslim and Greek Orthodox) can help to tap in to the diversity of people who actually live around here but don't always get involved or have their voices heard.

I just want to know when the permanent closure to traffic on Wightman Road and Green lanes will be announced? The best solution all round, no?

If Network rail screw the bridge as badly as they have the stations on the Great Northern route, we should achieve 50 percent of that objective.
