I agree. Needs to combine investment in public transport and outer London congestion zone. Plus cycling only roads.

One of my countrymen, a tall gentleman, who'd clearly been celebrating the closure, was standing near there just before six this evening, waving a bunch of daffodils and advising the cars coming up the road that the road's feckin* closed. I gained the strong impression he was a Wightman Road resident.

He particularly likes swearing at shiny new mecedes/BMWs with driver on phone acting as if the concrete blocks are an optical illusion and an affront to their god given masculinity!
