Two nights I've been woken up on Kimberley by frisky or fighting foxes. I can't tell. When will the flirting / fighting stop so I can get some sleep?

A friend of mine, recently moved to London from New Zealand, called the police to "a woman screaming" when she first heard the local foxes one night.
I've had a few nights too where foxes have woke me up. Not nice.
I can sympathise - they always seem to kick off just as I'm falling asleep, and as someone with chronic insomnia it has lead to voicing a few choice expletives (having a room that backs onto the River has it's downside sometimes *lol*)
Maybe they're pinning for Ziggy ... up there in the stardust
apparently orange and lemon peel works but you have to leave regularly. also we tried scoot but it works out expensive.
All l can say is 'laserlite' earplugs...Sleep tight!
Opened my curtains this morning and it looked like 2 on my lawn were asleep. They did soon move though...they seemed to realise they were being looked at.
Or Boots Wax Earplugs, you should sleep through anything..
the other option I have tried (you got to make sure your neighbours cant see) is peeing in the garden. It deters them apparently, even more so if its done by an adult man apparently.
