I emailed Virgin yesterday to tell them my phone line is dead (again!) and they sent an automated reply telling me to 'call 150 from your Virgin phone.'...
Wish I'd stuck to BT, even though it was costing more - I've had three outages in two months with Virgin, each requiring an engineer who fixes it for a while.

we had this issue since September until they finally cut off the whole line stating that they do not have permission from the council to dig outside the house to fix the problem....and we are still paying for the line rental, they are completely joke at the moment!!!so we are without phone line since October now...
Their service is appalling. To add insult to injury I have just had a letting telling me that I will be paying more than £3 extra on my monthly bill from February. It's really not value for money
