Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

all our lights are dimmed tonight and the electric heaters are running slowly/reduced power. has anyone else noticed similar issues? i assume it has to do with the national grid work.

many thanks

When I spoke with them on Wednesday they told me they only estimate the households affected. So agree with Joe. The more ppl they call the more urgent it might seem to them. I also think they have no clue what's going on. They thought it was fixed on Tuesday. Also it all started here on Warham after they dug up the road and fiddled around with the electricity lines.

I've just had a good response from UK Power Net regarding our low voltage since last week (Seymour): they're sending an engineer out to our house. However, that's because "they are not aware of any other issues in the area."

When I rang them a few minutes after the outage last night at about 10:30 they told me I was the first call so I do think the more people who contact them, the higher up the priority list it goes

They're not coming to my house now. They've since had "several calls" so are going to the substation. (There's the power of social media for you.) They expect to have everything sorted by 3 pm. Say they.

UK Power Net say that the issue in the Green Lanes area has now been resolved. Was caused by a "blown fuse."

was fine but now we have flickering lights and alarms going off....calling them now

A lot of flickering going on mid way up Seymour too - do let us know what they say.

Edited, just called. At first they said nobody had reported anything in the area but we quickly realised that is because they do everything on a postcode basis and I'm the first road in N8 after the N4 roads. She said they'd had a number of calls and were sending an engineer back to the substation.

Based on this agree it is worth calling as it does mean they take it more seriously - the number is 0333 202 2022.

She put it down as a new job. Told her that it is affecting neighbours and surrounding area. Please everyone call them and log a job with them. the number i am calling is 0800 316 3105

I was told they are looking into it right away....what a mess

choose option 2

Lights going on and off on Warham like the beginning of a low budget horror movie...

dim lights here on  Duckett and several lightbulbs have gone when I've switched the lights on

Off to call them now

yes - flickering lights and electric in house and outside streetlamps here on Warham Road (between passage and new river). will ring that 0800 number too ....
