What's the Use By date?

Christmas Pudding, use by date. Come on Pamish- if there is ever a disaster in this country stock up on Christmas pudding- it lasts for ever...

There's a lovely bit in a book by Michael Sadler where his French host serves him Christmas pudding as a treat. It's raw and his host is completely disbelieving when he tells her it needs to be boiled for 3 hours.

All of this has reminded me to put the sprouts on to boil ready for Christmas Day.

Far too early Martin. My Mum always waited until Bonfire Night.

No, no Michael, November is when the turkey goes in.

@Pamish.

Best before end March 2017 so you have time yet but buy early to avoid the Christmas rush.

I was wandering through Selfridges a few weeks ago with my great niece and nephew so we could get out of the heat on Oxford Street and we ended up in their Christmas department. I, of course, bought a bauble.
