Pistachio is not neutered and not microchipped. She is wearing a red fabric collar with bell. Has tail injury in middle of tail so tail is slightly bent. No fur on the underside of tail where the break is. Last seen on Green Lanes on 16th August.

Hi Cathy. Do you mean that the cat looks injured? Or is it stuck or maybe a lost cat? Has it been there a long time? If you can give me some more detail, that would be great.
If possible, please take a photo of the cat. If not, is it wearing a collar? Is it all ginger or does it have white bits?
Well done Cathy. Yes sounds like a fight injury. If you remember the colour of the collar, let me know.
Is this cat's owner looking for it? Or it's been found? I'm pretty sure that cat is living above an un-used shop at the very top of Woodlands Park Road with a litter of kittens. It's the West Green Road end. 2 weeks ago I saw an all-black cat with a red collar and bell trying to get its kitten (who had fallen from the top of the shop) back up to the roof again. She eventially managed it. I saw her again last week there.
Hi Katie. Thanks for replying. On this post, the black kitten with a red collar has been reported as a lost kitten by her owner. I don't know the exact age yet, but the photos suggest it's a young kitten (although sometimes people don't put recent photos). So I expect the cat on the roof is a different one (although a kitten is at risk of getting pregnant from only 5 months old, so it's vital that they're neutered from 4 months old). We need everyone to get their pets neutered and microchipped.
So just to recap - you've seen a black mother cat with a red collar and bell and a litter of kittens - on the roof of a disused shop at the top of Woodlands Park Road (West Green Road end). They are all going to need help - if they are still there Katie, let us know, plus, if you can, get a photo of the black cat. Maybe the mother cat is a lost cat, hopefully she is microchipped and she will need neutering once the kittens are weaned.
Hi Cathy, did the RSPCA just take one kitten? Do you know if the black cat and her remaining kittens still on top of the shop on Woodlands Park Road.
I'll flag it up to Stokey Cats and Dogs in case they can help you or advise (www.stokeycatsanddogs.co.uk). They are a local volunteer group, also on Facebook and Twitter. Ela from Stokey is also a member on here.
Hi Justine ,
I will look again this evening. It will be almost impossible to get a photo as it is too high up but will let you know if it is still there.
Katie
Yes it's important to find out if the mother and remaining kittens are still there as it's not a safe place for them to be - particularly if one kitten has fallen down already. Plus they need help and otherwise it just leads to more stray homeless cats.
