Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Dunno about the rest of you but here in Harringay ward I've had a quite few bits from Labour, one leaflet from the Conservatives and nothing from any of the other candidates. Have they given up before they've even started?

I have had Tory recylcirng sheets and Labour recycling sheets but no Greens leaflets. But got some at the hustings tho. Street is Morrison in N17

How frustrating! TUSC has produced 55,000 election broadsheets and we thought we had managed to deliver them to the entire constituency - obviously not! Despite being the 6th largest party (in terms of the number of candidates) we knew the Trade Unionist and Socialist Coalition (TUSC) would get no media coverage so we have tried very hard to get our arguments against austerity and racism as widely seen as possible. The broadsheet attempts to give a more comprehensive explanation of our approach to the current crises - it's not just another minimalist, and misleading, advert. There are another 55,000 leaflets being delivered by Royal Mail next week and we have printed about 20,000+ leaflets and postcards on specific subjects (housing, young people, Palestine) and in Turkish. Apologies to anyone missed out. Vale Road - here we come! Incidentally, all our election material can be seen on our election campaign website: www.jennysutton4tottenham.com

I think Jenny S. was one of the clearer and more coherent candidates at the hustings this week .

As a Green I have to agree that Jenny was very good at the Selby Centre. It's a bit disappointing that relatively few undecideds go to hustings. Tho of course in H&WG its different as people really can feel their vote counts there....

Only the socialists have ignored my No Junkmail sticker so far (on Sturrock Close N15).

eta ahhhh, they use Royal Mail - I haven't signed up to the Royal Mail opt out yet so that's how it slipped through.

Ah yes, we have a no junkmail label too, perhaps that explains it. Interesting that parties self-define their leaflets in such a way. Did come home to a Ukip flyer this week though. The spelling and grammar just as abysmal as others from around the country shared across social media in recent weeks.

Did you see the UKIP flyer that was marked in red pen by a teacher?

I volunteered for a party for a short time - I was instructed not to post leaflets through slots with a no junkmail sticker.

We've had leaflets from everyone here in SoTo! Ukip leaflet decorating the recycling bin as of yesterday.

Did crossdresser Tariq Saeed even read anything about UKIP before joining them (from Labour) a year ago. Alas, he isn't even a stand-up clown like that guy WINSTON TRUMAN McKenzie who stood for UKIP leadership in 2010. A change of name to OSWALD MOSLEY Saeed might get him a few votes in Tottenham. He can't really call himself Le Pen till he gets a proofreader.

Please do not insult crossdressers!

Seymour should have had a postcard many weeks ago and a London Green News (folded-into-3 A4) in the last fortnight. Maybe some of you guys would like to amend your 'no junk mail' stickers to read 'but we're not junking elections'. I don't think our leaflets look like the ubiquitous pizza ads but some of your downstairs/upstairs neighbours may be over-zealous in throwing all circulars out. Anyone is of course at liberty to recycle Green Party paper for the second time if they wish.

Don't worry Anne, I joined the Greens so there's no need to post things through my slot.
