The constituents of Uxbridge & South Ruislip may be about to make a dreadful mistake. If Boris is voted in as their MP, he may well be selected as the Tory Party Leader.
I would like to collate a list of one hundred reasons why Boris should not be PM.
To start the ball rolling, here are two suggestions:
1. Boris is a man who cannot or does not brush his hair. A man who cannot or does not brush their hair cannot be Prime Minister material
2. Boris is a joke, a joke cannot be PM.
Tags (All lower case. Use " " for multiple word tags):
6. Boris the name reminds me of a mouldy pork pie
And the horribly shortened BoJo is even worse!!
Quite simple: He's a tory
10. Bullingdon, especially burning £50 notes in front of homeless people
Seem to have two reason 10s, so I'll start from 12:
12. He thinks an airport should be built on an island in the Thames estuary, even though the risk of bird strikes would make this the most dangerous airport in the UK. Anyone trust him not to then try to get rid of the birds?
13. He was sacked from the Times for making up false quotes
14. He thinks "greed is a valuable spur to our economic activity"
15. He suggested the burden of proof in criminal trials should be switched from the accuser to the accused
16. He thinks the reason women go to university is to find husbands
17. And he was recorded agreeing to find out the whereabouts of a journalist for Darius Guppy so he could arrange to have him beaten up. This should be reason enough on it's own:
18. unfulfilled promises e.g. that he would eradicate homelessness/ rough sleeping in London by 2012
Not really sure what this thread is doing on a local community website… unless we get to vote in the Uxbridge and South Ruislip constituency and I didn't hear about it?
Its a local discussion of who could be our next Prime Minister and I think the choice will affect this community.
