Being one of the numerous folk who complained about noise levels at the Arctic Monkeys concert, I have received a helpful letter from the council warning me of more disruption to my enjoyment of birdsong, the laughter of small children and the mewing of kittens for the Wireless Festival.
So here are the key times we can expect to have our afternoon naps disrupted

Incidentally, the letter acknowledges that areas outside the 'established zone' were affected - hence the noise propagation tests - and that noise levels did rise above levels set by Haringey for a short time on Saturday (presumably when my normally oblivious to noise hubby came to ask me what the bloody hell that row was and I dissuaded him from banging on the door of the people across the road who sometimes blast Gary Numan, Suede and Jacques DuTronc out on a Sunday afternoon - something I mind less when I'm gardening then you'd imagine).

Suede have some awesome tunes! Was listening to Animal Nitrate just this morning
You had me excited there for a moment, thought they were coming to FP...in person.
Aw me too! Hopes quickly dashed....!
I grew up in the same town and went to the same school as brett and mat and mat's mum 'mrs osman' was my primary school teacher. Suede's in my blood!
Nothing wrong with a spot of Gary Numan, I'll take you out for a spin next time he's playing London.
Kanye West though. Yeezuz.. what a t**t. And Drake. My idea of hell. hopefully the wind blow the other way, or i shall be down there, throwing rotten tomatoes.
Ooh yes. M is a huge Gary Numan fan. Always has been. I can recall writing Tubeway Army on my maths book even before he went on Top of The Pops.
Wind appears to be blowing towards Black Boy Lane tonight, could hear the concert from Chestnuts Park.
At least i now know what that noise is... i'm in N15 seven sisters and the windows are occasionally rattling with bass! On a hot eve with all the windows wide open, i'm feeling a bit too tired to deal with it tonight :(
Could clearly hear Bruno Mars from my lounge in Seven Sisters (N15) yesterday evening, with all the windows/doors closed and the TV on.
I'm not complaining, because the noise wasn't really bothering me and I think it's good to have events like this in the borough.
But just saying if it was clearly audible in Seven Sisters 1.5 miles away, with the windows and doors shut, it must have been unbearable for residents in the immediate vicinity of Finsbury Park.
I called the festival helpline on Friday as the noise was making my house ring like a very low-pitched bell...and I'm just behind Seven Sisters Tube in South Tottenham !
What was encouraging was that they seemed to take my comments seriously - they took my details and said they'd send a Duty Officer with sound level equipment to check the levels in my street.
About 20mins later I got a call from the Duty Officer, to check I could still hear it, and he told me he was in the Ladder taking levels and would be moving onto South Tottenham shortly after.
I'm not taking credit, but it seemed much quieter on Sat and Sunday evenings :)
