We are looking to swap our normal size black wheelie bin for rubbish (240L) for a smaller one (140L?).
Our front yard is tiny and having the big normal one there is too much. I called the council but they said they don't offer the smaller ones anymore.
Anyone willing to do a swap? We live near Downhills Park, towards Tottenham.
Thanks, Lucy

Agreed, on both bins - and it took us three goes to get a small green bin. Though Homebase and B&Q sell small-size wheelie bins, they only come in all-over green, plus they might not fit onto the refuse lorry bin-lifting hooks.
Yes, I have small versions of both, much neater. I did have to offer my firstborn and swear allegiance to the lord of the wheelies to get them, mind you. They're easily big enough for a 1-2 person household, though if we've had a big week or a bit of a clear out the general refuse bin gets filled up a bit too quickly thanks to the fortnightly collections.
Thanks for all the replies! I'm going to give ringing Veolia another try....
