I just wondered if anyone else had seen the two page article in the Sunday Mirror yesterday which focused on West Green Road as having an appalling number of fast-food outlets close to schools? I think I basically agree with them, but it's a shame to have yet more negative press about the area....

Mr FRY, who is also chairman of the Child Growth Foundation, said: “Fast-food outlets near schools are a huge problem.'' Don't FRY serve up FRESH food!
Yes, I agree with you. There should be a set radius around schools within which no fast food outlets are allowed.
Bama chicken - which used to be a great Indian restaurant and takeaway called Curry Leaf - now offers "student deals" in the window.
The article makes seriously depressing. This stuff is like crack and probably even worse for kids.. at least in the volumes they are consuming it
I'm more concerned about the chickens and the hideous conditions they live and die in tbh - but that too.
Absolutely Abster, there's a reason they can be sold so cheap - scary stuff! Here's the ad, for the two new retail units - http://propertylink.estatesgazette.com/property-details/5717445-308...
Funny how the papers pick up buzz words that sound important and it gets spread around. The epicentre is the point just above the ground where an earthquake breaks the surface and has not other relevant application. The mean the centre, but that doesn't sound sensational enough!
