Ah the Holy Family snapped between Bethlehem and the Egyptian border! Long, long have we waited for our female Messiah. Hallelujah for Asha: A daughter is born to us - a Saviour is given to us - and a healthy looking new born Babe, now that you mention it. Asha, descendant of Asher - eighth son of Jacob by his second wife Zilpah - in the direct line of Jacob/Israel through the eponymous tribe of Asher: Asha meaning "the Fortunate, Blessed, Elect, Happy One." Alas, not a donkey in sight - these three prefer to hoof it under their own steam. Gina, Emine - the game's up - your labour has been in vain!

But Maggie, not even the Lib Dems can produce a Nativity and Epiphany back-to-back in one week. The Prophets of old tell us to expect all epiphanies between 6th January and 22nd May, with promises of gold, frankincense, myrrh, stars, wise men and women, one-hump and two-hump dromedaries, camel milk and honey, manna from Heaven and council tax freeze for the nth year running. Myself, I expect that from next weekend, 28th Dec, the Slaughter rather than the Laughter of the Innocents will resume in the streets.
In the interest of Propriety and for the avoidance of Public Scandal, I have been asked to clarify that while Asha is not in the direct line of David, or even of Karen, She is still the Messiah-Elect, promised from eternal years. She knows Jacob's Ladder like the back of her hand.

For the avoidance of doubt, permission was sought before this posting was made. The local Labour groups, and any others, are equally welcome to post non-political tidings of joy.
Come Jan 1 though, HoL will be on party political high alert as we enter local elections year.

Pls, pls can we have yours (or someone else's video interviews - capped at 2 to 3 mins of course) of each candidate for Harringay councillor elections May 2014 ... Would help voters make decisions I think, if voters are going to bother voting at all.
Karen, David, Asha, would you be happy to do this?

If I do them this time, I'll go for the Henry Ford approach. This mass production will mean making a video by group, e.g. the Harringay Labour candidates
