Thanks Karen, I'll put a post asking Fans to leave their cars at home on thestoneroses.org site and Facebook.

Any restrictions on 'visitors permits' CPZ GLA?

I live on Warham Road and I am going to the gig on Saturday night with mates who are staying over and  I will be giving them a visitors permit....I am wondering however, as I don't have one with me right now, is what permit do we use as normally parking is free on a Saturday.....hmmm is this a con for visitor permits......

If permits are valid for the restrictions indicated by Karen, then the options you have, depending on whats left in your drawer are Weekend, Daily or stack up 2 hourly visitors permits, double check dates and times you scratch out, ( might be worth double checking with Parking Services at Haringey Council.)

Parking restrictions...its a bit like the scene in 'Over the Hedge,'

when RJ says: OK! Listen, stay in the huddle.

Here's the plan...

Now, the traps are set here, here, here,

here, here, here, here, here, here,

here, here, here and here.

Here, here, here, here.

Big one here, here,

- and maybe a few over here. - is that all?

No. There's a bunch of red lights all over here.

...OK, step two.

I thought we'd be dead by step two, so this is going great!

I checked with the council about the use of residents and visitors permits and their response was as follows:

All respective CPZ permits (including visitor permits) are valid throughout the period of temporary restrictions ie: up to 8:30pm.

So my understanding is that as long as you have either a resident or visitor permit on during these times you should be ok.

If anyone has any problems please let me know and I will be happy to assist.

Venetia Road also has restrictions in place.

I have no idea why that road never shows up in Haringey Council's own map/list of CPZ streets, even though it's definitely in the same CPZ as Tancred.

I live in Pemberton Rd, going to the gig on Friday. My boyfriend doesn't live with me so we normally use visitors permits if he arrives before 6.30pm. We were hoping to head off to the gig at 5.30pm, as we only have 1 hour visitor permits in the drawer, but now that I know it is in force til 8.30 we won't be able to do this. It is my understanding that we can't use 3 x 1 hour permits to cover the period from 5.30-8.30. I don't know what to do now :-/

We used several 1hr permits to cover 3 hours of parking for the plumber recently, so you might want to double check that. I'm pretty sure it's fine to do that.

Then again, we might just have got lucky that there were no wardens about.

Normally I just use a number of permits with the relevant times scratched off (i.e. one at 5.30, one at 6.30, etc). Not sure if this is any different to normal

You can run the visitor permits on just make sure you scratch off the correct times.

Thanks! Also does anyone know how I can buy weekend permits? This option is not available when I go to buy them on the website.

Take council tax bill, two utility bills with your name on it,
and go to the Customer Services Building in Wood Green direct,
quieter around school pick up times ie 3.20,
check you haven't already filled your quota,
If you have time phone or email your query first,
to avoid potential for disappointment.
