Meeting to discuss speed/weight/noise problems on Ladder & Wightman Roads

Hi,

A few of us on this thread are trying to organise a meeting to discuss what can be done to reduce the problems with traffic on the Ladder roads as well as Wightman Road.

There was a suggestion for meeting one evening in the first week of May.  This will just be an initial meeting to discuss ideas and to try and establish how many people are affected and to what degree.

If you are interested in attending please send me a message or post here and we'll see how much interest there is.

Daniel.

I plan to be there.

Me too.

I'll be there. Where in the pub shall we meet?

salibury pub on green lanes, I believe at 7.30pm onwards

i 'm in

I'll be there too

Apologies but I dont think i can make this after all. If not I hope it goes well and look forward to hearing about your discussions.

PS nearly got squashed this weekend by some eejit turning into Seymour the wrong way. Noticed it a few times recently, am guessing people living at Wightman end who can't be bothered to go round the long way. Just another dimension to our lovely traffic...

Hi,

Shall we say in the front part of the pub at 1930.  I'll bring a print out of a 7.5 tonne sign and have it on the table!!

Look forward to seeing you all later.

Daniel.

See you there! I'll bring print outs of my correspondence with the Council regarding the current legal position.

Hi folks - I had planned to come to the meeting, but got caught up at work until very late.  Could someone please give me a run-down of what happened and any decisions/action points that came out of it?  Thanks!

I second that - would be good to read through some minutes!

They're coming. Had a busy day. Will post soon.

Daniel.
