Hurrah! Spring is on its way so it must be time for the Harringay gardeners to gather over a few ales, swap seeds and gardening tips and generally have a marvellous time.
As time is quite tight before Easter, I'm proposing that we meet on Tuesday 19th March at 8pm in the Salisbury pub.
How it works:
Bring seeds (and plants if you have them) to the pub and swap with your neighbours. If you're just starting out, you're welcome to join us, you don't need to bring anything as there's usually plenty. There's usually half a dozen very experienced gardeners who can give advice to us novices on growing. Any seeds or plants left over are donated to the school gardening projects at our local schools.
So please join us for a few pints and some lots of gardening talk!
Harringay Open Gardens
Last year saw the first Harringay Open Gardens event which Alison would like to repeat this year. If you would like to be involved please pop along and have a chat.

Perfect. I keep meaning to get to one of these Liz, and they always seem to fall on a date when I have something on already. Hopefully see you there this time though.
As a related question. A long while back I remembered seeing a post about sharpening and maintaining garden tools like secateurs. Is anything like this happeneing any time soon at all, as I have a couple of pairs that need some guidance and TLC?
A reminder to get your seeds and plants ready for next Tuesday's gardening get together!
