Cripes, what is it with cashpoints in Harringay? Always something exciting going on...

I know, down our way we have tesco or the post office and one at the other entrance to the station. Why so few? Although plenty I could pay almost £2.00 for the pleasure of using...which isn't going to happen.

Beats me why they don't have one in Manor House station - it's big enough for sure, and would be the obvious hub for people coming into an area that's mostly devoid of banks. It's even worse where I live alongside Seven Sisters Road - I have to go up to Seven Sisters or Stamford Hill Broadway - 15 minute trek either way.

He's completely harmless.  He rubs away at the cashpoints along Green Lanes most days.  He occassionally goes into the Old Ale and gives the front of their slot machine a good polish too.  I think he imagines that he'll eventually get money to pop out.

yes, he's a familiar sight.

Santander machines frequently swallow HSBC cards anyway - it's happened to me in two locations, and in the second, the manager admitted he was sending off batches of confiscated HSBC cards...

Yep Neil. I have videoed the guy (bit exploitative actually, feel bad), he's harmless. Polishes the fruit machine in old ale emporium also. I timed him one time and got remarkably consistent polishing times. Nearly ran over the mofo this morning btw, but that's an aside.

Irony being that he LOVES the Barclays ones. 4 minutes 40 seconds on each. He's a low threshold/non contact type of schizophrenic so, sadly, not much is getting cleaned.
