Hi Hugh,

Very interesting stuff - we've been involved in setting up an eco project with our group and intend to do something at Finsbury Park soon, not just yet though, we are working on it. Thanks for the info :-)

Hi Hugh,

We intend to us portable wireless networks in the main event where people can enjoy physical space and upload digital information reflecting their experiences, diaries and ideas etc to the Internet to a blog.

We have not contacted the authorities regarding this project yet because we are going to have a smaller, networking picnic event there first - which will involve open discussions between whoever turns up about what will happen. Offering an open platform run by a shared consensus on what type of events people wish to have and be part of...
Wow!
It's going to be great, we were involved in a project called Node.London, which was a new media art project (don't worry about what new media art means), but we ran the whole thing on consensus - had about 140 artists involved and over 40 venues showing events and shows in 2006.

we now want to do smaller projects with less people (sure you can understand why) which are more connected to people and not necessarily just artists - and our local area is a great place to explore such a thing.
