"thriving ", presumably ?
And their spell checker was no help with " within there North London Local Authority "
" together in partnership with.. * just in case you don't know what " together " means ?
Well it's either an example of someone with a sense of humour, or an over-reliance on spell checkers, or someone is familiar with Tottenham regeneration. And it's still their, and so their we have it.
Incredible that they haven't changed it. I know for a fact that they were told about this Thu AM.
In this week's Private Eye magazine.
As most people guessed, the correct word was 'thraving' meaning endlessly reproducing the same regeneration reports by cut-and-pasting old documents and ideas. It's derived from 'thrave' - the collective noun for a 'bundle' or 'sheave'. Which comes from the Old English term a þrave of regeneration experts. Similar to the Icelandic word þrefi meaning 'triple' or 'threefold'. Indicating that we always need three times as many reports as previously.
