I plan to do an October evening so if you want to come, can you give me an idea of what days and dates would suit/not suit in October so I can set a date?
Also if you are coming for the first time, please feel free to message me and I'll give you my mobile number so you can find us.

Sounds good for me - only night not good for me is Wednesdays.

Whatever date I choose, I'm going to disappoint someone I think. So, I'm going to go with original 9th October and I'm really sorry that I can't find a date that will suit everyone. We do this twice a year so hopefully the next one will suit. The October swap tends to more flowers whereas the Feb one is geared towards edibles/arranging seedling swaps.
A good night and great to see some new faces at the seed swap last night. Not much left over last night after the big exchange and thanks to Dick who brought foxgloves and lavender plants too! Don't worry if you missed it. We'll have another one in February, usually more focused on edibles but we still cater for the flower lovers (like me!).
Lots of great gardening tips passed on as well. This is my favourite: I know now not to chuck away those stray tomato seeds but to smear on paper egg boxes or kitchen paper then just plant the paper and the seed.
Liz, thanks for taking the initiative with this. It turned out very well for me. Apart from finding homes for my own over-production, I have come away with some things I haven't tried before. Moreover, by chance, it fitted in well with the fact that I had two French visitors to entertain. Seeing the seed exchange in action and finding that you speak fluent French (that was news to me!) made it a an excellent evening for them too. Richard even tried both Guinness and London Pride.
