I have just heard sad news that an older woman I used to visit, and chat to on the phone when I didnt get round there, has passed away. It seems very sudden. I would like to help rehouse her cat, which she only had for a couple of weeks before she passed away but I understand he was great company for her. He is 6 years old and has a very pleasant nature.
If you are interested, please contact me and I can give you phone number of the lady's sister who is currently looking after him.
thanks

What sad news Ruth. I can't take on another cat, but I'm sure if you pot a photo up you'd get a few takers. Is the cat an indoors cat only, or does he require a garden? Is he neutered? Just a few more bits of info might be helpful. Good luck, you're doing a lovely thing for an animal in need. Hopefully someone will take the cat.
Thanks Annette. I don't know much about him- will have to call the lady's sister who is looking after him at the moment. She already has cats so cant keep him on. She is busy organising the funeral now so perhaps a bit later I can get this info and post it here.
really appreciate you getting back to me.

Ruth - Our cat died a few months ago (after she had been with us for 18 years), and we are thinking about another cat. The cat would need to be a "house cat", as we don't have access to our back garden for an outdoors cat. If and when you are able to get more info (and I appreciate that the deceased's family will be concentrating on funeral arrangements etc right now), please post them and we'll see if the cat might be OK here.
Hi Christopher
thanks for getting back to me. I have the phone number of the lady's sister if you want to chat to her directly. she can tell you more. I don't think the cat went out much whilst with Maureen, but her sister can tell you more. We can connect offline for this if you like. best wishes
