The local newspaper this week reported the following:
First foodie Harringay Market is sell-out success
A Harringay cook has been overwhelmed by the success of her inaugural food market after the event was a complete sell-out.
Organiser Jessica Vos can breathe a sigh of relief after Sunday’s first Harringay Market at North Harringay Primary School went off without a hitch.
The food market has even caused quite a stir on Twitter, with Guardian journalist Vikram Dodd comparing it to the hugely popular Eat Street – but “with decent prices”.
Jessica said: “It went beyond expectation, to be honest. I guess every one of the stallholders felt the same – each sold out, some within an hour-and-a-half and no one was expecting this.”
The market will now take place every Sunday, from 11am until 3pm at the school in Falkland Road, with a range of food, produce and craft stalls.
And an even greater variety of stalls this week! Bought cheese, bread, eggs, strawberries, croissants, yummy cake & a Japanese prawn curry from Kat-su. Excellent.

The cheese stall guy is fantastic. Genuinely into what he does & I just love the taster sessions.
Loved the vibrancy of the market today Jessica - and the lovely stalls. You've done a great job setting this up.
