The Council is obliged to submit a "Preliminary Flood Risk" assessment by the 22nd June, and we, as Councillors have been asked to highlight any local problems that we may be aware of with regard to drainage problems that occur through heavy rainfall.
I have already reported the perennial problem which is Green Lanes north of Frobisher Road. If anyone wants me to mention anything else, please add a posting here and I'll pass it on.
The information will need to be in by Friday the 17th. (Sorry about that, but we've had very little notice.)

David, whether or not residents are encouraged, I'm certainly pleased that you - and Adam Coffman of course - have continued to plug away on this problem. From what Adam told me in March 2010, it's been an issue for at least fourteen years!
I wonder whether they'll need to work out where Hermitage Brook was culverted. When Green Lanes gave way just south of Sainsbury's a year or so ago, it seemed to be where the brook would flow down from the hillside.
Yes thanks David for pursuing this. I hope they get to the bottom of the problem soon. I hate to think about all the water that's being wasted
