As many local mums will know, Freightliner's Farm is a small urban farm set up on wasteland behind King's Cross. They're currently in the running for a desperately needed £10,000 grant which will be decide by a public vote.
Th project they're seeking to fund will provide weekly out-of-school-hours sessions for children and young people including learning about bees, their behaviour and their role as pollinators, practical bee keeping, honey harvesting and bee product making. The kids will also have the chance to market and sell their produce and to discover more about local food.
If you love the farm (or even if you think you ought to) you can vote with the flick of finger right here.
