Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

For the past couple of weeks I've received hardly any mail and  when I get mail it's mail meant to be delivered at another address in Harringay.

Last week the postman put some recorded mail through the letterbox without asking me to sign for it.

Today I received a letter sent 1st class recorded which I've been waiting for for 7 days.

The letter was apparently dropped through somebody else letter box further down on Wightman Rd before being sent back to royal mail and finally arriving today.  No point complaining to the postman as we have a new one everyday.

Has anyone else had similar experiences?

The last few days I have been getting other people's mail. I will report it to Royal Mail if it happens again. Not sure if someone else is getting my mail but it is a bit worrying.

Yes I have having such experience for some time too when mail that belonged to 36 Beresford Road is constantly being dropped on Hewitt Road or the mail that was meant for being dropped at 36 Hewitt Avenue. However to complain is good if the postman is constant but I still feel that it is right to place the observation before the Royal Mail authority. The Parcel force is excellent.

We (on Burgoyne Road) were getting post for the same number on Stanhope Gardens for a while.

It stopped when our normal postman returned, which is lucky for that property in Stanhope Gardens because when I took their post back round to them, they did not even say thank you, so I probably won't be bothering again.

A letter I was expecting last week hasn't arrived.

After a little while looking for it I found RM's complaint form in case any one else needs it, that's the link:

The complaint I sent off the other day bounced - the Post Office deny any responsibiliy for mail delivery.

They gave me this link:

I have just been handed a packet which was delivered to Seymour Road instead of Allison. It was clearly & correctly addressed.

If the kind person responsible is reading this - thank you very much.

I've fired off a complaint - don't know how much use it will be.

Mmm, it's clearly a bad patch at Ladder Central. I have a two-day old letter for the same house number as mine in Beresford which I'll try and drop off at the weekend.
We are on Cavendish but had a couple of letters for the same number on Pemberton the other day. Also getting cards for packets dropped through the letter box when someone is in - no-one ringing the bell or knocking. Will try the royalmail link.
