Will be nominating Cafe Lemon...er...now I suppose....

Done and here's what I wrote
Have taken a tired old premises and transformed it into a family - friendly, modern environment with quality food. The owner is welcoming and helpful and makes connections to local groups like the Harringay online website. Green Lanes has been improved no end by the presence of this cafe.

It might be good to nominate lots of local businesses. Who's next?

Thanks Colin. I imagine you mean nominating this site, not me. If a nomination was made to support marketing, website fees (what's already being paid (not much) + extra so we can get rid of the ads) and possibly provision for an allowance for additional moderators that would be great for the site. But I think it would have to be clear that the money wouldb't be for me and would have to properly accounted for for specific things. In which case, your nomination would be most gratefully received. Thanks Colin. (Although the politicians do filter nominations and I'm not sure what they feel about this site.)

Thank you Colin. That's very kind. Apologies if I got the wrong end of the stick earlier. I think a creative business award will offer some great profiling.
