Love Haringey: litter picks today, Finsbury Park and West Green

As part of a new borough-wide campaign, Love Haringey, to create cleaner streets, greener neighbourhoods and local spaces that everyone can be proud of. The aim is to bring residents, community groups and the council together as we take action to tackle fly-tipping and litter and look after our green spaces.

Love Haringey includes regular community action days, such as litter picks, as part of a wider campaign, including public education and enforcement to stop fly tipping. 

The kick off today is one of the community action days, with a big tidy up in Finsbury Park, meeting at Manor House Gate, at 11 am. 

There's also a litter pick in West Green, organised by a local community group meeting  at the corner of Caversham Rd and West Green Rd, also at 11am. 

We realise it's late notice on this forum, and apologise for that but if you have a couple of hours spare and fancy joining you will be more than welcome! No need to bring anything but recommend sturdy shoes and some water. It's also just the start of the campaign and we'll share more updates and actions soon.
