Good response to call for Wightman Road Mosque vigil
In a tweet tonight to accompany the above picture, our new MP, Catherine West wrote, ""Good to listen and stand together in #solidarity at #WightmanRoad Mosque tonight. One community united in saying there is no place for hate in our borough."
Clle Seema Chandawani posted this photo and wrote, "Absolutely packed vigil at Wightman Road Mosque. We stand by our Muslim neighbours during this awful time.'

One Ladder resident has just messaged me with the following, "It was really good to be there. We heard about the fear, especially Muslim women fearing going out wearing the hijab, so this visible support I felt was so important. Thanks for posting."
